Penned with a mental fortitude of pushing the lyrical envelope further, Lotus Fidelity is a tribute to the virtuous individual pursuing excellence with unyielding commitment. The definition of fidelity is faithfulness to a person, cause, or belief, demonstrated by continuing loyalty and support. Each song represents a culmination of loyalty by self-examination, integrity, faith, love, indomitable spirit, friendship, homage, and skillful practice.

Lotus Fidelity also plays on the term "lo-fi," also known as "low fidelity," as a main portion of the album is influenced by a niche trend of "lo-fi" hip-hop production.
